We've altered the design a bit.

Here are a few things we've learned over the past couple days of testing fender designs:
1. Rectancular bottles with flat bottoms are the sturdiest.
2. The fender must be at least 2 bottles long to be effective.
3. Zip ties work better than rubber bands for some applications.

Green Fenders!

The purpose of Green Fenders is to create value from commonly discarded materials. Towards that end, we decided to construct a bicycle fender from:

1 plastic bottle
2 plastic utensils
3 rubber bands



The prototype is now complete and manufacturing has begun.
